Room 9's maths class

Room 9's maths class have been learning about translations and transformations. As you can see from the slide below they had to make a pattern from a shape and make sure that it could fit in properly. The finished product looked great! Loud Shirt

On Friday the 18th of September there will be a loud shirt day. Loud shirt day is whenstudents get to wear a loud, bright shrit to school. Students that perticipate have to pay $1. But the other half of you must be uniform. So find a loud shirt and help the school rase money for the loud shrit!

Room 9's Tech challenge

A few week ago Room nine had a class compition. It was a tech challenge. A Tech Challenge is where you have to make something out of the material given. We all had to go in pairs and make a flag pole. The aim of it was to make the flag pole the highest it could be. We had 10 minutes to plan and 30 minutes to make it. The winning pair got to compete against other classes and thee wining class got to go to the hawkes bay finals. Here are some pictures of what room nine did.

Bullying defintion

We are learning about Bullying. Room 9 had to come up with a definition on what bullying is. Our class came up with...Bullying is...

• hurting someone or someone's feelings which can effect there lives.
• Hurting someone's feelings on purpose.
• Hurting someone who doesn't desevere it repetitively.

Horror disco..

On Thursday 13th of August TIS is holding a horror disco to rise money for our schools guide dog Gretal. The theme is horror so everyone sould be wearing there scary outfits! This will be a fun night for the school and all the money is going to a our guide dog. So if your going have fun and hope you have a great time.
